David Molony is Director of Valuations at MLV Property, based in Perth. He leads the firm’s valuation services, providing advice across commercial, industrial, retail and specialised assets for private, corporate and government clients.
With more than 20 years of experience in the valuation industry, David brings extensive expertise across a wide range of asset classes and advisory matters. His career includes roles with Herron Todd White and Sullivan Valuation Services, prior to joining McGees Property in 2011, where he has played a key role in developing and leading the valuations division.
David specialises in complex valuation assignments, with significant experience in compensation matters, ground rental assessments and statutory valuations. A large portion of his work involves advising local and state government bodies on asset management, acquisition, disposal, leasing and financial reporting. His experience extends to acting as Determining Valuer in rental disputes and providing expert advice across major infrastructure and development projects.
He has been involved in a number of high profile projects across Western Australia, including major transport infrastructure, port and waterfront valuations, and large scale portfolio assignments for government agencies and institutions. His work regularly requires navigating complex stakeholder environments and delivering precise, well supported valuation advice.
David brings a detailed and considered approach to all engagements, combining technical expertise with strong market knowledge. He is focused on delivering clear, defensible advice that supports informed decision making and long term asset outcomes.
